Goodbye, Gamelib.

Gamelib was a passion project from a different part of my life. I haven’t actively worked on it for almost five years, and the energy I once had for it has moved to newer things.

I’ve kept it online mostly because taking it down felt wrong. But keeping something alive only because it used to matter isn’t a good enough reason.

Gamelib will shut down on September 1, 2026.

Thank you so much for using Gamelib, and for sharing your stories here: the games you loved, the ones you dropped, the reviews you wrote, and the lists you made. Seeing people make Gamelib their own meant more to me than I probably ever said.

These days I’m working on newer things. If you want to see what I’m doing next, you can find me at benja.dev. It feels right to let this one end properly.
